Holiday Collars

I normally don't put any costumes on the girls, except this year Halloween, Ginger needed a costume for her therapy visit. So she was dressed as a fairy princess. The girls only wear their holiday collars on Christmas day. Here are some pictures of the girls with their collars on:

CoCo (top) and Miata were so tired after play ball. Look at Miata, she had her tongue hanging on the side. The frame on Miata's picture was the new app I added on my phone.

Tiara (top) and Ginger had their collars on this afternoon when they played ball.

A shot of Miata, Tiara and Ginger at the end. CoCo was behind me and refused to be part of the gang.

Here's Ginger with her fairy princess costume. I was lucky that she tolerated the hat for five minutes.

2009

It's been a LONG time since last time I blogged. So I decide that I should take better care of my blog. Anyway, 2009 will be gone in a little bit more than a week. Thinking about this year, I think I had a pretty good year. Miata is CH. Miata now. Both Miata and Ginger passed their therapy dog tests. The backyard is finally done. The girls love to play ball in the new yard. I have great friends. Work is busy although the economy is not as good as last year, grateful that my boss takes very good care of us. What more I can ask for? Wish everybody have a Wonderful Christmas!!

After Busy Season Outing

Since my last post, it's May and finally my busy season is over!  On Friday, May 8th, our firm hosted an ATV outing at Kualoa Ranch.  I took some shots of the view during the ride.

These horses are for the horseback riding.
Pictures of the ATVs.

Some scenic views.
This is a shot from the ranch.  These are fish ponds.  The "green horizontal line" before the ocean is called the secret island.  There is a beach and picnic areas.  Adam Sandler's movie "50 First Date" was filmed at the secret island, where he meets Drew Barrymore at the little breakfast place.

Finally It's Over!!

I'm so glad that April 15 is around the corner. It means that I don't need to work on Saturdays until next year!! It's great to have my Saturdays back. I usually use that day to groom dogs and do errands. I've been thinking about to take some photography lessons so I can take more nice shots of the girls. Maybe I should start investigating after I come back from the Georgia national. Any tips on photography?

R.I.P. iPod Shuffle

So, my iPod shuffle has been "acting funny" lately.  I took it to the Apple store today and found out that the cost of repairing is same as buying a new iPod shuffle since my warranty is up.  What did I do?  I bought the newest model of iPod shuffle.  (Sigh), my little cute pink 2nd generation iPod with the girls' names engraved (CoCo, Miata and Tiara) which goes to the gym with me every week.  I hope this one will last more than two years.  Farewell, my 2nd generation iPod shuffle...

Busy Season

This busy season seems like the busiest one since I joined the firm (I'm an auditor, so we have December year end and June year end clients). Today I didn't go to work since I need to get Miata and Ginger ready for tomorrow's specialty. It's a nice get away from work since this busy season has quite a bit of tension and stress. I took some pictures of the girls while I was grooming.

Miata is resting on the grooming table.

Ginger is getting ready for her bath. She is Miata's daughter.

Also, a shot of CoCo taking a nap.

Unfortunately, Tiara is waiting for her new coat before I take any picture of her. She had puppies about four months ago. After I created this blog, I realize that my knowledge on photo editing is limited. So I guess after the Georgia national, I will be spending some quality time with my iMac to explore photo editing.

First Show

Yesterday was Ginger's first show.  I was worried because Hawaii Kennel Club is indoor, all the noises may bother her.  Surprisingly, she was really calm in the ring.  I walked around the vendors area with her several times.  She jumped up and tried to see what's going on and tried to steal some goodies.  I'm very proud of this little girl.

This picture was taken after she's seven months old.  Of course, she didn't get her haircut yet.
